What is a Macro?
A macro is a set of instructions designed to carry out a task on your PC. Macros may be recorded or created by writing a script containing the instructions or commands.
Commands exist to simulate everything you can do with the keyboard and mouse; switch from one window to another; close windows; start programs; execute files; change directory; count, copy, move and delete files; read from files; write to files; perform DDE commands in other applications; detect running applications and open windows; make decisions based on the state of the cursor, the presence of windows and files, or the age of files; make arithmetic calculations; transfer files by FTP; prompt for information; gather system information; manipulate strings, times and dates; find windows containing specific text ....... and much more.
