How to Share Macros with Other Network users
Want to share macros with other users on your network?
Use "Linked Groups". A linked group is a macro group that is linked to a folder you specify. This could be a folder in a network share.
- Create a new Macro Group.
- Give the group a name
- Specify the folder path.
- Select the "Create Linked Group" check box.
Do this on your other PCs.
Now, any scripts saved into this group will appear in Macro Scheduler for everyone.
Note: to rename/delete linked macros you need to rename/delete the file in the folder itself using e.g. Windows Explorer. Essentially the linked group is now simply a mirror to whatever is in the folder.
