How do I disable the News Feed Window?

We added the news feed window to make it easy for you to keep abreast of important updates and new knowledge base articles.  By default it appears on startup and when a new article is available.  You can also view it at will using Help/News Feed.

However, if you'd rather not be bothered by it, or if you are configuring Macro Scheduler on a server for unattended  operation and don't want it appearing, you can disable it.

To do so select "News Feed" from the Help menu.  When the News Feed window appears you'll see two checkboxes at the bottom: "Show on Startup" and "New Article Notification". Uncheck both to prevent it ever appearing automatically again.
